North Wales’ finest metal quintet Rosen Bridge have released their new single ‘Rituals’, featuring guest vocals from Ali Angelini of Blind Summit. The song explores living with ADHD and is mixed and mastered by Andrew Wade (Neck Deep, Wage War, ADTR).
Rosen Bridge comments: “‘Rituals’ depicts the cyclical inner-monologue of someone struggling to live with ADHD. Ali’s vocals embody self-doubt and the fear in the back of your mind that there’ll be no escape from a life of repetition.”
Born from a group of friends on the north-west coast of Wales in 2015, Rosen Bridge have always used their music as an outlet for navigating through deeply personal and sometimes hard-hitting topics. They kicked off 2022 with their single ‘Shallows’ an anthem for those battling mental illness and feelings of drowning in hopelessness, but provided a subtext that urged listeners to take the first step toward recovery.
Their next single, ‘Watchers’ saw them team up with Jot Maxi of Hactivist for a reimagining of biblical tales from the Book of Enochs, before heading out as a support on Hactivist’s UK tour. Later in the year the band played UK Tech Fest and joined Overthrone for a co-headline tour across the UK in September.
Since their comeback in 2019 with ‘Cassandra’s Prophecy’ the band have continued to push the technical boundaries and their latest release is no different. ‘Rituals’ is just as focused on blending crushing breakdowns with soaring vocals as well as subliminal messaging linking the two sides of the band seamlessly. Remaining true to their identity as a band, ‘Rituals’ is their
most polished and technical song to date.
